Gandhinagar, Tuesday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel paid a surprise visit to the office of Directorate of Pension and Provident Fund in Gandhinagar on 28-02-2023 Tuesday evening.
As the budget session of the Legislative Assembly is currently going on, and there were two sessions on Tuesday, as per the prior schedule of the Chief Minister, he was going to attend the sessions in the Legislative Assembly throughout the day.
Making a sudden change in his pre-scheduled program Chief Minister made a surprise visit to the office of the Directorate of Pension and Provident Fund in Old Sachivalaya Block No-18 in the evening.
He obtained the details of the work through direct interaction with the officer/employees of the department. The Chief Minister also interacted with the senior pensioners and other people who came to the office for their own work purpose.
With this surprise visit of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the employees of the Directorate of Pension and Provident Fund office were surprised and impressed by this gesture of Chief Minister.
As soon as the Chief Secretary Shri Rajkumar, Principal Secretary Finance Department Shri Gupta and Principal Secretary Smt Mona Khandhar came to know about this surprise visit of the Chief Minister, they also reached the office of Directorate of
Pension and Provident Fund and accompanied Chief Minister on this visit.
