Chief Minister obtains details about the security and arrangements and gave suggestions

 

Gandhinagar, Wednesday: On the occasion of 75 years of cricket-friendship between India and Australia, Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Australia Mr. Anthony Albanese will witness the fourth Test match to be played at the Narendra
Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 9th.

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel visited the Narendra Modi Stadium in the morning to review the preparations for this event which will take place to celebrate cricket relations between India and Australia.

The Chief Minister also made important suggestions regarding this program besides inquiring about the details of the security, arrangements, outline of the ceremony etc. The Chief Minister strongly suggested that the entire event should be planned with care
and in such a manner that the citizens do not face any problem.

During this visit along with the Chief Minister, State Chief Secretary Shri Raj Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Department Shri A.K. Rakesh, Principal Secretary Sports Department Shri Ashwini Kumar, State Director General of Police
Shri Vikas Sahay, Ahmedabad City Police Commissioner Shri Sanjay Srivastava, AMC( Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation) Commissioner Shri M. Thennarasan, a senior official from the Ministry of External Affairs, officials from various departments including BCCI
and GCA officials were present.
