Chief Minister lays foundation stone for country’s first ultra-modern old age home for Divyang’s“ Prabhunu Ghar” in Bharuch

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has received the blessings of his forefathers by laying foundation stone for the Divyang Old Age Home:- Padmashri Dr. Kanu Tailor

With the construction of this old age home 49 different advanced facilities for about 200 elderly Divyang’s will be made available

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel:-

  • Voluntary and religious organizations have also come forward to realize the dream of a self-reliant India to self-reliant Gujarat
  • The aim of state government is to provide appropriate and necessary assistance to the service works performed by the religious and social organizations
  • Padmashri Dr. Kanu Taylor will take up the staggering task of redesigning the old age home as a resort and making it as “Prabhu nu Ghar”

Gandhinagar, Sunday: Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at the Central and Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel in Gujarat, many works are being done with constant concern for the upliftment of the Divyang’s . Adding one more
element to it, the “Prabhunu Ghar”, an old age home for the Divyang’s to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 40 crores at Uchedia village of Jhagadia taluka on the banks of the Narmada river in Bharuch district through the ideas of Surat’s Padmashri Dr. Kanu Tailor
whose foundation stone was laid by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel today.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel while laying the foundation stone of the old age home for the Divyang’s said that our visionary Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has always shown concern about how to bring the Divyang’s into the mainstream of
society and has implemented many schemes in that direction.

Thus for the first time ever the construction work of “Prabhu nu Ghar” home for the Divyang’s which is going to take place ,which is really admirable.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel further said that, Under the glorious leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India which is thriving at the pace of development, has done the work of creating numerous employment opportunities abroad.
Today, through laying of the foundation stone of this old age home which has added another leaf of success.

Voluntary organizations and religious organizations are also coming forward for many tasks so that not only the government alone join hands to realize the dream of a self-reliant India through self-reliant Gujarat.

The Chief Minister further said that, The state government expressed its determination to participate more in the social work done by religious organizations and voluntary organizations.

During the beginning of the program Dr. Kanu Taylor, President of Disabled Welfare Trust of India in his welcome speech said that Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has received the blessings of his descendants by laying the foundation stone of
the old age home for the Divyang’s. He also said that Divyang’s will surely benefit from the double engine government.

At this juncture KP Group Chairman Shri Faruk Patel expressed his happiness on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of the old age home.

The program was started by lighting of the lamp by the Chief Minister and other dignitaries. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was felicitated with a bouquet and a shawl by the dignitaries. Also Divyang students showcased mesmerizing cultural
program in which they performed wheelchair dance.

Trustee Shri Mohan Nair delivered vote of thanks.

On the occasion District Panchayat President Shri AlpaPatel, MLA’s Shri Ishwar Singh Patel, Shri Ramesh Mistry, Shri Ritesh Vasava, District Collector Shri Tushar Sumera, District Police Chief Dr. Leena Patil, District Development Officer Shri P.R.
Joshi etc including officials as well as office bearers, Divyand children were also present in large numbers.
